Lina Wang, MD
Dr. Wang graduated from Hebei Medical University in Shijiazhuang, China where she also received a Masters degree in Ophthalmology and completed an Ophthalmology residency. Her Internal Medicine Internship was completed at Nassau University Medical Center and a Neurology Residency at Ohio State University. She also completed a Fellowship in Neurophysiology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Wang worked with Neurological Consultants of Virginia Beach before transferring to Neurology Specialists in October 2008. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Wang’s clinical interests are in line with her fellowship training and include EEG, EMG, neuromuscular disease, epilepsy and headaches.
Carmen Fuentes, MD
Dr. Fuentes graduated from the Medical School Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. She completed her transitional studies at Ponce School of Medicine and St. Luke's Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico and a neurology residency at Louisiana State University. Dr. Fuentes completed a movement disorders fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Fuentes is a movement disorders specialist. She specializes in the treatment of patients with Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, dystonia and other types of movement disorders. Dr. Fuentes also treats patients with other neurological problems and speaks Spanish.
Ella H. Pecsok, Ph.D
Dr. Pecsok obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from West Virginia University where she also completed a fellowship in Neuropsychology. She has a special interest in helping patients deal with stress associated with chronic neurologic problems with a focus on multiple sclerosis, dementia and post stroke disabilities. Her hobbies include painting, reading and spending time with her family.
Jamie K. Ducharme, Ph.D
Dr. Ducharme attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2010, Dr. Ducharme completed a two year neuropsychology fellowship through the University of Virginia Department of Neurology. She has several publications, including as a contributing scholar to the Handbook of Assessment in Clinical Gerontology, 2010. In addition to neuropsychological testing, Dr. Ducharme practices cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic outpatient psychotherapies. She is currently actively engaged in the process to acquire board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
