Appropriate patients would potentially be individuals with a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment or mild stage dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease, who further meet criteria for safe administration of the medication based on FDA guidelines and detailed clinician evaluation.

If you are currently a patient at Neurology Specialists and are interested in Aducanumab, you can consult with your provider about the medication during your next scheduled appointment. There is no need to have a sooner appointment. This is a long-term treatment, which will require insurance authorization and in some cases additional testing to confirm eligibility.
